Janet Evanovich - How I Write

How I Write is one of the best writing reference books I have ever read-- and I've read a LOT of them. It's a combination of fun, down-to-earth advice and good old fashioned butt kicking. The book is based on questions from Evanovich's website, which is administered by her daughter, Alex. Her advice ranges from plotting and character development to querying formats and motivation. If you are an aspiring writer or just a fan of Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, I strongly recommend picking it up.
