Janet Evanovich - How I Write

How I Write is one of the best writing reference books I have ever read-- and I've read a LOT of them. It's a combination of fun, down-to-earth advice and good old fashioned butt kicking. The book is based on questions from Evanovich's website, http://www.evanovich.com/ which is administered by her daughter, Alex. Her advice ranges from plotting and character development to querying formats and motivation. If you are an aspiring writer or just a fan of Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, I strongly recommend picking it up.
